Can you explain the difference between hiv DNA pvr and hiv rna pcr , which test should be taken immediately after exposure to hiv

HIV is a RNA virus , Once it enters in to our CD4 cells ,the RNA needs to be converted to DNA to replicate the Virus, DNA PCR picks up that newly found DNA which is more specific. RNA PCR is used for patients who are HIV positive and to check efficiency of Drugs. Pro Viral DNA is the earliest test which you can opt on 16th Day of Exposure.
