Hello there. I can understand your concern. Medical science has evolved a lot over the years and once a patient of HIV is detected at an early stage, and when treatment is started soon and if he is taking treatment as prescribed, he can lead a normal life of upto 60-70 years. But during this he has to take all precautions as suggested and has to take treatment as suggested. Now a days, govt gives free treatment for people at ART centres. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.
