I'm 6 weeks pregnant and HIV positive, Im not on medication but I've been reading a lot of articles on how to protect your baby from contacting HIV too. Some people say they have stopped treatment right after giving birth. I heard of a drug called zidovudine you drink it while pregnant after giving birth you decide if you want to stop it, also heard of triple action. So my concern is cab I stop the treatment after giving birth?

HIV medication should be continued lifelong if you want to leave a good quality life. Else you will develop early progression to AIDS. Also you can protect your baby from infection with proper medication before delivery. Consult your local doctor for further details.
