2021-06-09 16:30:01
It's been a month my wife recovered from covid. But her pulse rate is still 100+ all the time. Sometimes reaches upto 125. We got the ECG done ECG is normal but showing increased heartbeat. On Doctor advice took CIPLAR 10 for 6 days once a day. But no improvement in pulse rate. Please suggest, If this is normal ? Or should we consult with Cardio ?  Any medication or remedies ?

It will settle... If she anxious... Calm her.. Otherwise do some investigation... And revit..

High pulse rate post covid is multifactorial. Particularly in young females this could be anxiety related. I need further clinical details

Increase in the heart rate post covid is quite common. It persists for 1-3 months and then resolved spontaneously in most patients. If the patient is having symptoms like palpitations, a consultation with a cardiologist is required and sone medicines may be needed. If the patient is asymptomatic, no medicines are needed generally.
