High lipid levels
Greetings, im asking this for my mother attached are the lipid reports and thyroid profile. She is 5.2 weigh around 74 kgs. Please tell if she need any medications to keep these numbers under control or it can be reversed through lifestyle changes or if there is any cause of concern. Thanks for the reply in advance.
Also her kft and lft are normal
Hi, The values in lipid profile is pretty high. Looking at her age she should start with anti- lipid drugs along with dietary modification. Repeat lipid profile after 2 month of starting medication.
Her thyroid profile says Sub clinical Euthyroid. She will need small dose of thyroxin hormone otherwise she will land up in frank hypothyroid in few months.
Also get an USG oth thyroid before stating thyroid medication.
