Why doctors not recommending antiviral treatment for chronic hepatitis b inactive carriers.. As i have been diagnosis chronic hbv but dr not recomending antiviral or any treatment.. its not dangerous for liver??? It will not effect liver.. ?? Or will it stay inactive for life long...??

Hepatitis B treatment depends on quantitative assessment of hbsag, HEV and any underlying cirrhosis changes in liver If hbsag > 2000 u require tenofovir
