My mother is 60 yes and recently she has undergone a left hip fracture and now she is able to walk with the help of walker and now she is suffering from heavy feet burning and swelling ... Performed all the kidney related and sugar related tests and all the negative... Does it come under neuro and which specialist to go for.

Hi.. thanks for contacting practo for health query. This is Dr.Shanmugavadivu answering your question. Your mother had fracture hip , treated but now has burning feet. I too feel it should be neuropathy.U need to meet a neurologist may be he will give you vitamin B12 and nerve sedatives. Hope this helps.
