I am facing this gastric issues since two years being on and off. Once I consult a doc and take medications ,I get better and have reoccurrence after the course of medications are completed in few weeks/months . Last month I had visited a doc and he asked me to follow a diet which involved avoiding wheat, milk, sugar, fruits. But I hadn't strictly followed the diet and now back in pain :( Since I am not in my hometown I can't consult him. Can you please suggest me some medications for now as I have diarrhoea(3 times, today) and bad stomach cramps since the whole day including fuller stomach ,headache and slight heartburn. Please help .

Hello there...i understand your concern...try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever you can...Avoid foods that irritate your stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty... avoid coffee, tea etc... Avoid stress, consider calming activities, such as meditation, yoga etc...sleep with head raised position and have dinner at least 2 hours before sleep..do regular exercises...take pantaprazole 40 mg twice daily before food with above....consult physician if symptoms persists.
