My smart watch shows sudden spikes in heart beat rates once in 2-3 days even while I'm sitting idle. What's unusual is that I see the time frame for this spike and realise I was not exercising at that time. The heart beat rate goes above 130bpm even while I'm not walking/exercising. Is this normal? I see this spike only once in 2-3 days.
Do you have any symptoms?
If asymptomatic, usual spikes are common. They are physiological so need not worry.
Get yourself evaluated with routine laboratory investigations like CBC, renal function test, electrolyte, fasting thyroid profile.
Heart rate variability is lower in people who exercise regularly do yoga and meditate so advice is to continue exercising avoid addictions if any healthy eating habits.
