Sir, gene therapy, stem cell therapy etcetc are all under research. It may take more time for them to become a reality for treatment of hearing loss. I suggest you to get bilateral cochlear implants by a good ENT SURGEON so that the persons quality of life will be better. Dr Sandeep Dachuri, Bangalore
