Hello drs anyone please help me my baby is having hearing problem done second bera test in tat also lines are flat I'm really depressed now Dr has suggested for PTA can this done for 8 months baby and what is this test

This is again test for hearing and can be done in baby. You should get it dome for diagnosis and treatment. Get patient checked by pediatric neurologist

PTA is Pure Tone audiometry with which an ENT specialist would evaluate if your child has a hearing problem. BAER is the test of nerve that carries hearing sensation to the brain. No recording on BAER means there is no signal generated from ear. Please consult an ENT specialist for further evaluation.
