Ultrasound has its own limitation, it cannot assess certain areas to rule out any dissections of major arteries. So which area of interest is to be seen can decide whether ultrasound is helping or not. CT Aortogram should help for confirmation or final diagnosis.

Depends on which part of aorta , regular echo or if in hospital Trans esophageal echo  can detect. But for clarity CT aortogram.

USG if looking only for dissection than u can find some clue But very difficult for the radiologist to detect with out symptoms CT Aortograme can detect
