Hello Mam I am also from medical industry, biomedical application Engineer in Opthalmic surgical industry. Around 7 years back, I got a head injury and there were 6 stiches. I didn't consulted neurologist, just got treated from nursing home. Sometimes I feel pain in stiches, is it normal due to season change or shall I go for CT.. Please advice Waiting to hear soon from you Regards Prateek Sai dutt

Wound heal by scar formation. Severed nerves may give scar tenderness or abnormal sensation. This is mainly a problem of skin rather than brain. CT won't help. Consult nearby neurosurgeon. It can managed by medication or by local application of gabapentin. If not relived u can go for local site injection
