Having Vertigo and Cervical problem
2 Years back he had an accident while driving a Car. He was hit by other car from behind and from that day onwards he was diagnosed with Accute Vertigo and Cervical. He has been prescribed with Vertin 4mg as well as 8mg(when pain is unbearable) and Stemetil MD. During this treatment he has been prescribed with few Physiotherapy sessions also. But due to his ongoing situation of him, I think the medicines are not helping in curing his problem. And also one more thing he is a diabetic patient(for the past 4-5 years). Kindly please help in suggesting other remedies/treatment through which he gets benefited.
What he has is called cervicogenic vertigo, which means its due to an injury to cervical spine and its effect. It’s probably not due to ear. If there’s doubt just get one evaluation by ENT specialist will clear him. Then he should be under treatment under a neurologist. Since its not ear problem the tablet vertin may not be beneficial. Hence can stop it and meet a neurologist.
