I have hypothyroidism...it was detected after my first pregnancy....l have my TPO AB>1300...I am planning to get pregnant...but I am afraid these antibodies ll affect my baby causing autism or any mental retardation...is it safe for the baby if the mother has hashimotos...I badly want a second child,so I get very very depressed thinking this...but I am not very affected by hypothyroidism except depression and mood swings that too regarding getting pregnant...my tsh is 3.17...i m taking thyronorm 50 mcg...pls clear my fear...

Go ahead with second pregnancy. You first pregnancy was okay with the same antibodies so will be your second pregnancy. They are not transferred to your child. But monitor TSH regularly during pregnancy. Stop searching stuff online. Consult your gynecologist and physician.
