Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

My mom (48Y) had FNAC test for 25mm cold nodule on left thyroid.FNAC report conclusion is "Suggestive of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. ( Bethesda Category II)".Is it dangerous or shall we go for biopsy to know whether it is a cancer.Is there any chance of cancer for that cold nodule??All other T3,T4,Tsh reports r normal.Clinical details:? Adenoma / Colloid nodule.Hope u may help.......

Bethesda 2 nodules are generally benign with very low malignant potential.
Next Steps
Get a ultrasound of thyroid and review with details for final opinion
