Harmonal changes *weight gain

2 yrs before , weight was normal.But due stress in professional and personal life my wife gained weight very rapidly.the transformation was from 62 kg to 74 kg . After consultation we knew that it was due to harmonal changes. Medication is under process from 8 months but significant results are not getting...Is it curable and if it is posaible then how much time it will take to reform her original shape??plzz reply genuine question
