Hardening of vein due to canuula

Admitted for 5 days . Cannula was inserted. So after few days of discharge the vein got hard . Applied ice cubes but still the hardening of vein has no relief. There's no pain. Pls advise what should be done.

Can u plz share the pic. Its better to b sure if u have infection there or not? Coz treatment will differ for infection u ll need antibiotic and for simple thrombophlebitis a cream will do. Consult in pvt chat
