Actually Laxopeg syrup is similar to evict. Laxopeg packets are different from Laxopeg syrup, and that is why there is some confusion. Check the label of both bottles to see what I mean. I would agree that changes in diet are very important, also need to increase activity. Better fluid intake, but less milk will help. It works by drawing water into the colon, which softens the stool and helps to produce a bowel movement. Belching, gas,, nausea, stomach cramps, vomiting are common possible side effects of lactulose. Have soft food items , fiber containing vegetables , fruits like banana . Drink lot of water . It's better not to change syp, continue laxopeg.
