Hi my mom is 42 year old she have a over bleeding issues all the time, we consulted a local doctor and she did DNC , and after that she prescribed yasmin contraceptive. Bleeding is controlled but im worried y she prescribed contraceptive for my mom...

Your Mom's case should be well diagnosed first. Just controlling the bleeding is not enough. Pl do the following tests at the earliest. 1. Blood - TC, DC, ESR, Hb gm%, Platelet count , TSH, 2. USG Scan of Abdomen and pelvis.
