Gutta percha in teeth

While doing RCT about an year ago, a part of the gutta percha used to clean the tooth was broken and left inside my tooth. It has not hurt in 1 year. I have not got in capped yet. Where can I get it removed in Bangalore? Is surgery required for it? Should I get the tooth extracted instead? It is a molar tooth.

2 things... First of all the gutta percha is supposed to be left in the tooth after an RCT. Second, after RCT you HAVE to go for a cap. Otherwise there is a chance of recurrence of the infection. So there are 2 options left... Either go for a retreatment or for extraction. However in your case, whether retreatment is possible or not will only be decided after looking at the intra oral radiograph.

The cap is an essential part of RCT. In the future never leave a RC treated tooth without a cap. I could lead to many complications.
