2 things... First of all the gutta percha is supposed to be left in the tooth after an RCT. Second, after RCT you HAVE to go for a cap. Otherwise there is a chance of recurrence of the infection. So there are 2 options left... Either go for a retreatment or for extraction. However in your case, whether retreatment is possible or not will only be decided after looking at the intra oral radiograph.
