Granular pharingytis

I had tonsillectomy 6 months back..in these 6 months I suffered from granular pharingytis 3 times.my tongue turned out whitish like thrush during this infection.please suggest me permanent solution for chronic granular pharingytis

Two things that has be ruled out are chronic sinusitis and acid reflux. U need further evaluation. A more detailed history will be helpful

Granular pharyngitis could be because of poor oral hygiene.You need to take fresh home prepared food only with proper chewing action of teeth and jaw . After every feed you need to go for mouth wash.Avoid frozen and half cooked food .If not responding with above all then you need to go for throat swab for culture and sensitivity for throat infections if any

Chronic granular pharyngitis can occur due to chronic irritation of throat, possibly due to acid reflux. Please take meals at proper times, keep 2 hrs gap between dinner and bedtime, and avoid acidity inducing food. Maintance of oral hygiene is a must.
