Went to dr when I felt pain in abdomen. After 2 or 3 days, pimple-like blisters appeared. Went to dr again on day2 of blisters & it was already fluid-filled. Dr prescribed acyclovir 800mg 5/day for 7 days. I stopped acyclovir on Day4 bcos of severe dizziness but blisters is already pus-filled, bruise-colored. Im on day5 of shingles now. 1) Is it ok to stop medication? 2) Chances of having shingles again as I got older? 3) Blisters are in the center left stomach & center lower back, is it normal?
