Gluteal region abscess
I have got one left gluteal region abscess which got incision drainage and in recovering mode. But simultaneously I have got on right side one boil similar to left gluteal region. Please suggest if this boil is any serious condition and medicatio for the same.i have attache sonography report which was done for the left gluteal region before incision.

It's a cellulitis...which is a deeper infection. Ideally it is better to do a cultur poe sensitivity of the pus and starting specific antibiotics. Your doctor would have already started you on antibiotics. If it reduces, well and good. If not your doctor will do culture sensitivity test. Kindly review with your doctor.
