Glans softer than shaft during erection

I get a good enough erection in my penis shaft, but the glans are softer and doesn't engorge as much as the shaft does. Is this due to excessive masturbation recently ? It does expand but not the mushroom shape above the shaft what it should usually be. How do I resolve this, been a week since I'm noticing this ?
