Gestational age is ahead

I have tested positive on 28th march and got a TVS scan. The scan shows gestation age is 5 weeks but my LMP is March 1st. I am confused how it could be ahead of actual age. Kindly reply

On April 1st you completed 4 weeks. So this is 5th week.

You will be 4 week + 5days according to you LMP Gestational age is calculated from the first day of your LMP
