I assume you are not aware if your sexual partner has been tested for sexually transmitted infections including HIV and Hepatitis B. Your best option is to see your gynaecologist or a specialist in skin and DVD. They will do the necessary tests and also counsel you regarding safe sex. You may also wish to discuss reliable contraception in addition to condoms. You need to abstain from intercourse till you are completely cured and encourage your partner to also get tested and treated. Condoms are effective at preventing infections but not so reliable regarding v pregnancy prevention. If you miss your period you need to do a urine pregnancy test.
