Hello Doctor, Greetings for the day. For past few days it seems I am suffering from Amoeba infected loose stool(frequently) with cramps. I have a healthy diet and maintain good hygiene. Is it fine if I intake Metrogyl 400 to get rid of this? It's so irritating. And how many number of times shall I take the dosage. Or if any other medicines can work wonders would be great if you suggest. I do appreciate your help. Thanks and regards Ishani.

Hi Metrogyl causes metallic taste in mouth. So, sometimes it is not very acceptable to the patients. U can take Combination of Ofloxacin and Ornidazole(ORNOF/ O2/ORNI-O to name few) twice daily for 5-7 days
