How long is gastroenteritis contagious after the symptoms have stopped. I have had it for 5 days, is it safe to see people?

For another 1 weeks time it's better to take soft diet but there is no issue about seeing people

Hope your symptoms have completely stopped.. Drink lots of fluids.. You need to take precautions regarding hygiene... Need to wash your hands thoroughly with soap after toilet, bcz that's how you can infect others. No issue seeing people.
