My wife having gallstone .one is 10 mm and remaining stones are 3 mm.is surgery  required or not.she got pain first time.

Yes. If she has symptoms and there was once episode of acute calculous Cholecystitis them she should probably go for a surgery.

get a physical exam from surgeon . liver function test. if needed mrcp

Gall stones are formed due to dysfunction of gall bladder. these stones aill not go with any meds or any ayurvedic meds. more likely they will cause pain and discomfort to your wife. preferably option is to get her operated by Laparoscopic Surgery. it's a key hole surgery and does not cause any pain or discomfort. there is no long te.side effect if gall bladder is removed
