If any history of Gall bladder cancers in family or biliary cancers then you need to undergo surgery. If not then annual ultrasound abdomen to keep a watch on the size of polyp is necessary. Any increase by 2mm in one year is again an indication for surgery. A polyp 1cm or more is an indication for surgery. A polyp with stone is an indication for surgery
