My mother has a 14mm stone in gallbladder, we had her whole abdominal ultrasound scan last week, now we are looking forward for gallstones removal surgery. But i am confused to what kind of doctor to see for gallstones. Should i book an appointment directly with a general surgeon or a gastroenterologist ?
