Hey there! I understand how difficult it can be to deal with multiple struggles. I hear you, life gets difficult sometimes and everything around us feels frustrating and annoying, but let me tell you that you have taken a great step reaching out. Since these concerns have been going on for a couple of years, the best step you could take is to consult a mental health professional. There are different types of therapy like Cognitive behavioural therapy ( CBT) and Dialectic behavioural therapy (DBT) and so on. Feeling like you do not like other people and not feeling comfortable around other people can be exhausting. Learning to trust people around you will help you relax and feel better around people, but this is easier said than done. Learning to trust people takes time and effort and your therapist will definitely be able to guide you through this. Make sure to be kind to yourself and forgive yourself if you arenât seeing results at the pace you are expecting. However, here are some steps you could take while trying to figure out your therapy plan:
Do a physical activity when you feel angry or frustrated - Instead of taking out the anger on yourself try to exert all that energy by doing an activity that requires physical exertion like hitting a punching back, working out or even dancing.
Practice mindfulness - Mindfulness helps you train your mind to be kinder to yourself and those around you and help you remain at peace.
Talk to somebody you love - Just venting all pent up emotions inside you can be a very effective method to relax and feel better. Sometimes all you need to cheer up is some support and love.
Spend more time doing things you love. Whether it is going on trips that you enjoy, or reading a book, do it and do it more often!
Take a break. Life can be extremely hectic every now and then and so it is extremely important to pause it for a while and take a break.
Focus on your strengths and practise gratitude: Journal everything you are grateful about at least once a week. Write down everything you appreciate about yourself! You are a beautiful person! Stay strong, you will get through this!
