There are numerous things other than dates that you can serve to your baby like khichdi dalia roti veggies kheer/ suji kheer..
Anything that contains a seed should better be avoided at this age because of choking hazards
Yes you can give yellow portion of egg ,chicken or mutton in soup or minced preparations

U can give yellow portion of boiled ago mixed with khichdi
Also u can give properly boiled chicken to the baby
U can practically give most things by this age avoiding things which can get stuck in food pipe or wind pipe like peanut, full grapes, chunks of nuts
