Does Fluoxetine work better for OCD in general as compared to Escitalopram /Sertaline ? I am not asking about the exceptional case. Just asking about the response of Fluoxetine in most of the OCD cases.

Interindividual variation are a lot but fluoxetine works for many. OCD is a complex illness, it is not so simple to break it down to fluoxetine. Every illness has social and psychological factors which has a impact on how medicine works.

The best evidence base for OCD are tricycles like clomipramine followed by SSRI’s like paroxetine, fluvoxamine and fluoxetine. Evidence to support efficacy of sertraline and escitalopram is weaker. Generally higher doses are warranted for longer durations in OCD.
