For fistula which surgery is better laser or open surgery?

Both surgeries have their pros and cons.
Laser surgery is advanced surgery with lesser tissue injury, but there is chance of recurrence in Laser surgery.
Open surgery is gross surgery and complete excision of fistulous tract is done, so chance of recurrence is less, but tissue healing will take time.

Open surgery is best. Laser surgery has high recurrence for high fistulas & multiple fistulas. 1 st better go for conservative treatment ( sitz bath, avoid constipation ) if pus discharge is less
