You have a trigger finger. Options include anti inflammatory drugs, physiotherapy & excercises in initial stages. However if it's persistent or not responding to conservative management we can release the tight pulley by doing a small surgery under local anaesthesia. Takes 7-8min,only local anaesthesia, no fasting, walk in & walk out in an hours time and 3-4stiches is all it takes. However surgery is recommended when u don't respond to other treatment options.
