Fever of 5 months
Today my son, age 5 months is suffering from fever , temp 101.2 after applying Calpol drop in the afternoon time temp drops around 100.4 around evening time but afterwards temp raised again to 101 hence given Calpol drop after 7 hrs interval and after 2 hrs temp is around 99.8 .. baby is suffering from slight cough as well hence advise
Take a pediatrician opinion as we have to rule out infection - viral or bacterial.
Give adequate BF and body sponging with water which will bring down body temp to some extent.
Clinical examination is needed as to find cause of cough is simple or due to illness
