Father had fever 2 days back..We gave paracetamol 250mg , it recurred after 12 hrs then we gave paracetamol again , then it recurred in 6 hrs . Now after giving paracetamol it is not coming below 100. It comes to 100 and then again starts rising. There is no other problem except fever.Is it viral? What needs to be done..should we get a covid test ? There are no other symptoms except fever

Paracetamol 250 is not enough dose. Give him paracetamol 650 at least thrice a day. It could be regular viral infection. But it could be Covid also. So get a Covid test
