Fever for 3 days

Kid is having fever since 3 days, recurring almost every 6 hours.He has been vomiting for the past two days, but today there are no episodes of vomiting, but the fever keeps coming, giving medicine for fever. Mephtol P as suggested by doctor. Please suggest.
