Fever consultation

My son is 13 months old on 6/08/20 in the morning he has fever which gets better after giving paracetamol syrp and there was no fever in the night. On 16/08/20 he again has fever in the morning and after giving paracetamol it goes down and temp again started increasing after 3 to 4 hrs. when we give tablet fever decreases and then again after 3 to 4 hrs it increases. Today also fever came but not that high. Should i continue paracetamol. how long it will take fever to become normal.

Give paracetamol if temperature is more than 100.4F. Need so more detail history and examination. Consult pediatrician and required blood investigation.

Please describe if there are other things like ear discharge , rashes , diarrhea , joint swelling etc. keep the baby in cool atmosphere , loosenclothings , give bath , give boiled & cooled water to drink . Give paracetamol only if these natural measures don’t keep temperatures down . Observe but do video consult if any of those symptoms have appeared .

Paracetamol can be given max 6th hrly whenever required in appropriate dose. Need more information about child's illness. Make sure to keep him well hydrated
