My mother is having high fever( between 100-101) for the past 3 days. She is diabetic and also got vaccinated( covishield) 8 days ago. There is no other symptom than high fever. She is taking dolo 650 for the past 2 days. Her sugar levels are also normal.Please guide on what step i should take.

Post covid fever is very common with covishield upto 2 to 3 days after vaccination.you can do a rtpcr to rule out covid if fever persists.constant monitoring of sugar levels and saturation level by a pulse oximeter is very important.Tepid sponging can be done to bring down the fever.
