Fetus heart rate low

My wife has gone through pre pregnancy ultrasound and it was found that fetus heart rate is 99bpm and it was 5week 2days. Doctor said it was very low and could create problems. Is it treatable and what would be consequences? Regards,

Wait for a week and repeat scan and see a gynaecologist for additional pregnancy support medication
