I have been with my partner for a couple of years now, we aren't trying for a baby, but I have noticed at times where something probably should have happened, hasn't. I'm starting to wonder whether it's me, how do I go about finding this out?

Hi,If you have not been doing anything to avoid a baby you should have conceived. However, not to worry, please make an appointment with your doctor for a detailed history and scan on the second or third day of your menstrual period.A scan would be normally offered and should give a fair idea on your uterus, ovaries and your ability to produce eggs.As you are fairly young and if the scan is normal, you probably would not need a hormonal evaluation. If you are keen on a baby,I would also ask your partner to get a semen analysis done and a tubal evaluation for you.Hope this helps. All the very best.
