Hi. The anxiety is perfectly normal with relation of needle or blood. Blood collection is a minor procedure and it will only take a minute. So I would not recommend you to take any meds to prevent such a short anxious state. I don’t know who have suggested you Hydroxizine, but it will not help you. Just take deep breaths, relax yourself, meditate and calm yourself before the procedure.
