I got a MRI done for a swelling in my arm. The report indicated a fat lesion. Can you please explain what it means ? My doctor has advised surgery for removal, please advise.

Need to know about size of lesion and MRI report Generally lipomas ll be there If larger size greater than 10 cm - may be chances of malignancy ll be there No need to worry ur doctor ll explain you before going for surgery
