False d dimer test

2021-05-29 05:51:07
I had d dimer 1.23 and after taking ecospirin75 for 7 days it came to .2 and these test were performed after one month of mild covid infection. Both the samples were home collection...so I want to ask is there any chance of false d dimer values ... I'm very afraid of unknown risks. please tell should I take ecospirin 75 again.

there are always chances of false results if the tests were not performed right. The only way to know it is to get it retested.. Also taking ecosprin does not always secure normal d dimer... It is just a part of treatment. It can fail also. There are chances that your d dimer could have much higher if you would not have taken Ecosprin... It is best to consult a doctor, evaluate the situation and take appropriate treatment. My suggestion is to start homoeopathic treatment side by side.

Since you are taking a prescription medicine, it will be beneficial if you consult the doctor who has prescribed you rather than this open forum.
