Face tanning

I applied turned(tretinoin cream) on left cheek in November 2016 in night. On the other day I went in sunlight for 1 minute without using sunscreen. Next day my left cheek badly tanned. My dermatologist prescribed me steroids I applied steroids for 7 days. Meanwhile I was applying UV2IR sunscreen. It created black spot on my face. Even after one year that tanning is not going. Pl. Advise which cream should I use. I don't want to undergo any therapy.

Hi : Thanks for your query. Physical protection is by far the cheapest and best way to prevent and reverse tanning. It can be in the form of cap, umbrella, etc. along with that chemical protection in the form of a good SPF sunscreen is also important. Chemical peeling helps to exfoliate skin thus removing tanning and helps in lightening and brightening the skin. A series of chemical peels are generally required which helps you achieve your colour.
