Since you are above 40 years you need glasses for reading, for floaters it is better to get a dilated retinal examination done.

You hv not written if you are using glasses for reading or not .
If not, do a check up n start using glasses..that should sort out most of your problems ...
Some floaters are normal, just ignore.
But do a detailed check up first.
