Hi.. In Contura basically the shaping of cornea will be done according to the shape of your cornea n smoothening of inherent aberration also possible giving superior quality vision . In Famto, the flap is made with a laser in stead of microkeratome ..so itnis blade less. . Contura can be done with Famto too or with the routien lasik. If your cornea has higher order ablation..as in irregularities, it is more beneficial. Cost varies as per place , doctor etc. Best to ask the treating doctor.
